First Baptist Church of Clewiston

Tommy Payne was called by First Baptist Church to serve as a Senior Pastor is 2026. His focus is on preaching, teaching, discipleship, and encouraging others to enjoy the ordinary means of grace. Before his call to full-time pastoral ministry, he was a leader in the transportation industry and ministered in the local church as a deacon. 

Tommy and his wife Kimberly have been married since 2013. They have one daughter and three sons. As a family, they enjoy showing hospitality and going on family hikes. Tommy also enjoys learning about the space programs, the outdoors, barbeque anything and telling a good dad joke. 

Rickie oversees all aspects of our facilities.  Rickie is always willing to lend a helping hand to the members of First Baptist Clewiston whether it be here at the church or at their home.  

Rickie moved to Clewiston in 1987 and has raised his two children, Andrika and Rickie Jr.  He has been on staff since February 2009.  On his days off, Rickie enjoys singing and helping others.
